There are many things that can be done to increase the use of your deck and add to its appeal. Adding benches to accommodate for crowds, covering a dangerous window well, maybe a built in planter box, or skirting the outside of the deck to utilize the space below for storage. It is critical that your deck is framed and secured correctly to insure a safe and long lasting deck. We recommend that you use steel framing. Steel framing is stronger, will not rot and will not warp or twist creating an uneven surface. However, if price is a constraint all of our decks built using wood framing are wrapped with a membrane to prevent rot and decay.  Using a hidden fastening system also gives your deck a nice smooth finish.
